As someone who scored a 5 on the AP Lit Exam, I can also help with test-taking skills. Advanced in German, I've studied many languages and love teaching English as a Foreign Language. I can also help with Microsoft Word and Excel, which I've used extensively as a project manager and grant writer. I begin any lesson by assessing where my students are struggling. I've worked in international development for the past four years, touching on the intersections of economic development, education and natural resource management. I currently enjoy working in business development for a major Environmental non-profit. I try to take advantage of the overwhelming supply of creative people in NY and am well-informed of the currents in the NY and Berlin art scenes. I try to get outside as often as I can and love playing and watching soccer, hiking and am a beginner surfer. I was an avid traveler as a teenager and got to live in England and Germany for two years. Born and raised in East TN, I've also lived in Washington DC and currently reside in Brooklyn.
