I graduated from Stanford University where I earned my BS in Science, Technology, and Society with a Chemistry concentration. I also took my MS from Stanford in Management Science and Engineering with an Organizations, Technology, and Entrepreneurship focus. After graduation I worked in Finance, especially in the tech industry where I was involved in entrepreneurial pursuits. I love to travel and I travel a great a deal to African and Asian countries, trying to learn as much about the cultures as I can. Because I participated in the AVID teaching programs, I have a great deal of experience tutoring middle school and high school. I was also a TA for graduate students. My favorite subjects to teach are finance and high school math. I believe in education as a path to lead the student to achievement and undreamt of opportunities.In addition to the subjects already mentioned, I am capable of tutoring high school reading, writing, and science. I can also tutor college algebra. I am proficient at tutoring for the SSAT, at all levels.In my free time, I am an avid runner, and I'm actually a former Olympian. I also enjoy learning to play the piano.
