Experience
I graduated from college about four years ago. I attended Middlebury College, and there I held dual majors in both History and Economics, and I also held a minor in Spanish. Since then, I have worked in two very different career fields! Most recently, I helped develop a technology company that produces items to help taxicab drivers in New York City. Before that, I served as a volunteer in the Youth Development sector of the Peace Corps. While serving in the Peace Corps, I lived in Peru with a family in the Andes mountains. There, other volunteers and I helped create sustainable programs for the locals in education and preventative healthcare. I am very passionate about tutoring, and I truly love what I do. I have experience tutoring people of all ages, from young children to adults. I tutor economics, math, history, Spanish, and many other subjects! When I tutor, I enjoy collaborating with my students. I also tailor my lessons to meet each individual student's needs, and I strive to make my lessons fun. When not tutoring, I enjoy reading to learn more about American History. I also like to run in Prospect Park and attend great concerts with my friends!
