I began my tutoring career in 2007 with two young children and one of whom possessing a very rare learning disability where it was incumbent for me to make lesson plans daily in order for the child to complete their homework and especially to continue success in all their subjects. One of my next students who suffered terribly from ADHD and could barely read or write at their expected grade level when I began with him and ended my time with him as he acquired awards such as "Reader of the Month", "Student of the Month", and an award for excellence in completing homework. I have worked as an Assistant Teacher to children starting with Pre-K through fifth grade for a private school company and thus expected to provide aid in all subjects on all levels on a daily basis.

Hobbies
My favorite pastime is being an ardent reader and consuming books specifically in the genre of historical fiction at this time. I love to write poetry and will be attending graduate school in the near future. It has always been my dream since I was a child to acquire my Master's and then my PhD so I could one day teach at a college level.
