Experience

I'm from Washington, DC and have been teaching for about five years now. Currently a fourth year medical student. My goal is to make sure nobody thinks math is a four-letter-word! Tutoring works well for me because when I study, I work on an idea until it makes sense to me - and if I can make sense of it - anybody can make sense of it. I can help anybody. I've had tremendous success in the past helping students get grades they never thought were possible. In the past, I've taught calculus I-III, differential equations, advanced calculus, discrete math, and trigonometry. I'm a very visual person, so graphs make a lot of sense to me, and I get a lot of satisfaction helping others achieve that "a-ha" moment. I was also a pre-med student (also a paramedic, and can help with NCLEX, EMT, etc.), so I can help with all areas of the sciences contained in the premed track (and, of course, high school science subjects) as well as all medical school subjects. I grew up in DC, so, I was fortunate enough to learn Spanish both verbally and in written format. I hope to be able to help you with whatever questions you may have! Questions? E-mail me!
