I have worked with a wide variety of students, but I especially love to help students who are studying in the Science disciplines and trying to hone their writing skills, as well as Pre-Med students. I believe in using a sense of humor when I work with all my students, as I believe it makes learning more enjoyable.I have a background in tutoring students within the Sciences, as well as the Humanities, but I love to help students who need assistance with test prep, as well as those working on their essays.I offer tutoring in Organic Chemistry, Writing, Essay Editing, Literature, Grammar and Mechanics, College Essays, MCAT: Verbal Reasoning and Social and Behavior Sciences, 11th-12th Grade Writing, English, Science, and Graduate Test Prep.I graduated from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, where I earned a Bachelor of Science in English Language and Literature. I also attended Columbia University. Currently, I am applying to medical school and spending a year in New York City, where I am doing research that focuses on HIV prevention.When I'm not working, I love to play the piano and guitar, as well as read good books.
