Hello All! My name is Grigory Agrest and I am a lifelong learner and educator. I am a certified NYS teacher with multiple licenses and know a lot about the way the system works. Being an immigrant I also know the struggles that many students have, both young and adult, and the importance of proper education and test success. I proudly served in the United States Army National Guard. Successfully completed both Undergraduate Degrees and a Masters Degree in Special Education. Currently on the process of obtaining a masters degree in School Leadership (Assistant Principal/Principal licenses) My masters degree GPA was 3.8, while working full time.

Experience

I was blessed to have many students who successfully completed college while under my tutelage. My students range from elementary and kindergarten through graduate school. While being a teacher is rewarding, I get the real enjoyment of seeing my students blossom on a personal level. You can only get through a small number of students when teaching a large class, and truly make a difference for these people. However, as a 1 to 1 tutor, you have the opportunity to help each and every student you work with, because you adjust the lessons and the needs based on those students.
