I can provide support in any mathematical subject, including calculus, physics, elementary-level math, algebra, SSAT prep, and statistics. At Fairleigh Dickinson University, I was involved in Phi Mu Epsilon's math honor society. In high school, I took my school to the New Jersey Undergraduate Math Competition twice. I graduated in 2013, earning a Bachelors of Arts degree in Mathematics Summa Cum Laude. I have ample experience in tutoring in all levels of math anywhere from third to twelfth grade, a majority of which I gained while working at FDU until I graduated with a 3.919, the highest overall GPA for that year's graduating class. My goal as a tutor is to guide the student through the areas they need it the most. I aim to focus each student's attention on the areas of math that need the most work. By working together with each student, I demonstrate problem-solving methods in a clear and precise manner. I believe that by practicing often, every student can achieve success in math. During each math tutoring session, I give the student my undivided attention and work through every issue as it comes up. My goal as a tutor is for each student to succeed.
