I am a CELTA certified teacher with 8 years’ experience teaching English as a Second Language. I have also been an Arizona certified secondary school teacher and I taught US History, World History, AP World History, and Navajo History. My teaching experience includes teaching both large groups and one-to-one classes. I have taught students from over 30 nationalities, ranging in age from young children to adults I have prepared students for TOEFL, IELTS, FCE, CAE, and TOEIC. I have taught business English to professionals in banking, law, engineering, advertising and international business. I have also taught students learning English for travel, general purposes, and as university preparation. I love working with students from around the world and learning about a variety of cultures. I have lived and worked in the UK, Indonesia, and South Africa. I especially love working one-to-one with students because lessons can be customized to exactly what a student needs and wants.
