Private tutor in Brooklyn, NY
The King's College - BA, Media, Culture and the Arts
I am currently pursing a bachelor's degree at The King's College in Manhattan. I will graduate next year with a B.A. in Media, Culture, and the Arts, along with three minors in Business, Theology, and Philosophy. I have been fortunate to have already had a wide variety of teaching experiences in my life. I have been a babysitter, an English as Second Language tutor, and teaching horseback riding. Between my freshman and sophomore years at The King's College, I went to Kenya where I spent the summer working at an orphanage. Math, Writing, English, and Reading are subjects I love. However, I get most excited when I see someone who does well in every class they are taking. Standardized tests are something that I have always liked, and I can help students gain confidence in their preparation. My view of learning is that we all know many things already. The key to realizing that is to find an organizing construct that fits the individual. Some areas I tutor include Algebra, Calculus, Reading, Writing, Essay Editing, and Literature. I live in Brooklyn, New York. In my free time, I like to read, run, and cook. I am also working on developing my green thumb, focusing on house plants.
