Experience
When I was in college, I spent a year in London studying Shakespeare and other classics. I even appeared in a number of productions while there. I am sure that this bolstered my love and passion of words and the arts. I also love working with youth. For the past few years, I have worked as a musical choreographer at the middle school level. I have also taught students in middle school a number of different courses, and have worked with high schoolers in preparation for the SAT and ACT Verbal exams. I have experience working with children who have learning or behavior problems, such as those with Autism or attention issues. I strive to be a patient tutor who encourages my students to work hard to succeed. I attended the University of Southern California's School of Dramatic Arts, where I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Theater. I am available to tutor a number of courses, including Reading, Writing, Essay Editing, Phonics, Literature, College Essays, Public Speaking, Study Skills, and a number of test prep courses for the ACT, PSAT, SAT, and SSAT. Apart from my academic interests, I love animals, baking, and running.
