Experiences I have worked as a tutor during my time at Fitchburg State assisting students with their writing and theatre work. Over the summer I teach at a theatre camp for teenagers where I channel my talents for the craft into teaching new students. I took both AP US History and Literature getting a 5 on the APUSH Exam and a 3 on the Lit exam. I want to be a tutor because I love to give students a greater understanding of the world around them. I like to create a relaxed environment and really make sure to increase the student's enthusiasm and knowledge in the course. I have taken a variety of classes such as Page to Stage Analysis, Media Criticism, Acting for the Camera, Literature and Film, Creative Non-Fiction, AP United States History, Advanced Cinema Production, and Voice and Articulation just to name a few. I was an Resident Assistant for two years at Fitchburg State where I created a safe but fun living environment for students. Some of my achievements include Fitchburg State University President’s List Irene Ryan Acting Scholarship Region I Finalist Campus MovieFest Best Drama Winner Fitchburg State University Theatre Student of the Year Film/Theatre work selected for Visions, a juried honors exhibition
