I am a passionate tutor of math and English and enjoy the opportunity to give others the same passion for those topics that I have. I believe that in order to get people to better understand a topic, you have to also emphasize the broader context. That way, if you are studying a specific topic, like math, you can also see the broader context of how it fits together as a cohesive unit. I feel that my students will remember and retain that knowledge better by doing so, while at the same time learning new topics more quickly.I am currently studying at the City College of New York as I complete a degree in both English and math, with an emphasis on creating writing. I have completed many written works, including many short stories, and am in the process of writing my first novel. I am currently working with my professors at CCNY on publishing my work.When I am not tutoring or studying, you can find me in the great outdoors. I am also an avid traveler, having visited nearly every state in the United States, and recently spent a summer on a Himalayan hiking venture. My hope is to spend a month in Iceland in the near future.
