I have studied at the University of Michigan, in Ann Arbor, and at Boston University School of Medicine. I have been tutoring since I was in high school, where I helped a number of my classmates improve their marks in subjects that they found challenging.I believe that a great tutor listens to the student and makes an effort to understand where he or she is coming from. While it is important for the tutor to teach difficult material, an excellent educator also connects with the students in order to understand their learning styles. It is very important for a teacher to present his or her material in a way that the student can understand and relate to.I help students prepare for a number of subjects in science, including biology and biochemistry, physiology, and chemistry. I am also able to help students prepare for the verbal reason and biological science portions of the MCAT.I currently live in Brooklyn, New York. My main interest is music, and I especially enjoy going to concerts.
