Experience
I began teaching/tutoring in the area of test prep after my freshman year attending Rutgers University. During this time, I taught LSAT and SAT prep while working for a large test prep business. I later covered the GMAT for an online test prep company. I have helped people with test prep for more than 15 years. In college, I taught writing to my fellow undergraduate peers and at the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth. I pursued my graduate studies at the University of California - Berkeley. Here I taught undergraduates European history and, in 2002, earned an award for outstanding student instructor at the graduate level. You can therefore see my instructional skills have had positive feedback.I was accepted to study at New York University Law School but, rather than go this route, opted to go with an education career. Artistic in nature, I am a musician and comic who performs regularly in New York City and my work has been posted on the College Humor website. I play guitar and enjoy karaoke. Other facts about me: I have a master's degree in history, with a specialty in Russian history, I work out, I enjoy 1970s culture, and I am thinking about pursuing my PhD.

Hobbies
plays guitar, has a karaoke addiction, Master's in History (specializes in Russian History) thinking about and going back and getting PhD. Enjoys the show the Wire and Archer. Not big on pop culture (loves the 70s). Works out but not big into sports.
