I graduated summa cum laude from Moravian College. I have fourteen years of experience in teaching and in business. I believe that personal development and setting attainable goals are both critical elements necessary to succeed both academically and professionally. Not only do I specialize in teaching writing, but I also tutor elementary mathematics, science, reading, and test preparation.I believe that it is important for a teacher to have excellent communication skills and to be well rounded, having extensive knowledge in many different areas. As a teacher, I am balanced and I strive to empower my students by teaching them how to also become more balanced. I love tutoring, and nothing makes me happier than to be able to give the gift of knowledge. I become thrilled when I see that flicker of insight and inspiration in my students' eyes. Watching my students succeed motivates me to further my own studies and personal development.When I tutor, I like to give constructive feedback that helps empower the student. Nothing feels better than the feeling of personal growth and development.When I am not inside the classroom, I am usually acting or performing musically. I direct a choir, and we have been privileged to be able to perform all over the country.
