Education

Columbia College Chicago - BFA, Fashion Design

Experience

I have many interests like writing, computer science, linguistics, and more. I went to Columbia College Chicago, where I explored these interests and finally settled on Fashion Design. I received my bachelor's degree cum laude in Fashion Design. My tutoring style is to make sure to involve the individual in their whole process of learning and to look at the subjects from their viewpoint. I believe in teaching complete understanding of the concepts over just memorizing every formula, but I realize the high pressure demands of standardized exams and tutor strategies for the exam along with the material. I thoroughly enjoy great writing, and I am excited to help individuals expand and improve their writing and reading skills. In my spare time, I enjoy running in Prospect Park, delving into any good book, and listening to all interesting genres of music. I find myself wanting to learn new things whenever possible. For instance, I am teaching myself to use the Linux terminal and writing a long-form narrative (the first one for me) now. Other interests include fashion, comics, and drawing. I currently reside in Brooklyn, New York.
