I earned my degree in English Literature and International Studies from the University of Miami in Miami, Florida. I have experience working with students of all age groups from the primary school level to the post-secondary level. My tutoring experience is extensive in all aspects of English, including the following: reading, writing, essay editing, grammar, expository writing, persuasive writing, literary analysis, essay editing, literature, public speaking, and phonics. In addition, I have helped students prepare for college entrance exams, such as the ACT and SAT. I am qualified to tutor social studies and religious studies, as well. While tutoring, I have helped students work on their individual academic goals and aided in the creation of specific strategies to help ensure they succeed. When I am not tutoring, I choose to read, cook, run, and travel. Recently, I traveled to Argentina to further my education. I also enjoy puzzles and anything that challenges the mind.
