Experience
I graduated with a degree in Early Childhood Education that certifies me to teach Early Childhood (pre-k)-6th grade. I took classes to prepare me to teach all grades. I taught 2nd grade for 2 years. My first year I taught all subjects and my second year I taught Reading, Writing, and Social Studies. As well as teaching, I did after school tutoring for my students usually in math and reading. In college I did my student teaching with 4th graders teaching Social studies and Math. I also did student teaching with pre-school children. I have been working with children for over 8 years and have excellent experience with teaching them.

Hobbies
My hobbies include reading, traveling, and checking things off my ever growing bucket list. I have 2 cats that I enjoy spending time with too. I'm new to New York (from Houston), so I enjoy spending my free time exploring the city and experiencing all the fun things there is to do here.
