Graduated with honors in English from Beacon High School in NYC 2005 I began my undergraduate studies at Hampshire College and finished at The New School with a B/A and M/A in Literature 2013
Experience
I started tutoring as I was working on my thesis almost 2 years ago. Since then I have nourished a passion for education and learning by working with several families in Manhattan in Brooklyn. I've tutored all ages from 5-10 with homework help and specialty in reading and writing composition/ comprehension. Further experience includes web editing and content for a teen focused poetry website called power poetry. Social media, photography and events work at Poets House including children's poetry programming. As well as freelance writing and editing/ review writing for NYC based start up companies.

Weekends at any time, Tuesday at any time, Thursday in the morning, Friday in the morning, Weekdays after 6PM

Hobbies
I am a creative writer with a focus on short fiction and poetry. I am currently working on a volume of translations from Spanish to English. I am a HUGE bookworm. I am a big comedy fan and am also developing several ideas for children's books.
