Hobbies

I enjoy baking, running, and volunteering. I love math! A lot of my experience tutoring comes from volunteering. I've worked mostly with 6th grade students, but am familiar with middle-school level math. I don't think students have enough time to practice the concepts they learn in school, and it's difficult for them to see the connection between what they learn in class and real life. I'm a tactile learner, and I learn best by practicing, verbally explaining, and demonstrating new concepts.
