I graduated Cum Laude from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and concentration in Structural Engineering. I am currently in the planning stages of continuing my education to earn a Master of Science in Structural Engineering. During my undergraduate years at Cornell I tutored Calculus 2 and 3 to beginning engineering classes, and also a supplementary Calculus 2 course. These courses consisted of mini lectures and practice problems geared toward newer students, for extra exposure to the subject through more experienced students that have hands-on exposure and class-specific study techniques to offer those new to the subjects. My strength as a tutor is in Mathematics and Physics, specifically Newtonian Mechanics, Algebra, Calculus, Trigonometry, and Differential Equations. I strive to approach complex subject matter with various strategies until the most efficient learning style is discovered to suit individual's needs. Many times a challenging problem can be analyzed and understood in a new way that might not have been noticed in the past. My hobbies and interests include playing soccer, going to theater shows, knitting, reading, and travel. I spent some time living abroad and am fascinated by other cultures.
