Private tutor in Brooklyn, NY
Yale University - BA, Ethics, Politics, and Economics
I am currently living in Brooklyn, New York. I have tutoring expertise in diverse subjects such as American history, algebra 1-4, geometry, trigonometry, statistics, elementary math, and social sciences. With an SAT test score of 2330 and a GMAT score of 760, I am proficient with these and a variety of other standardized tests. I can offer students my assistance with test prep for exams such as the GMAT quantitative and verbal, SAT critical reading and math, PSAT, SHSAT, and the Regents. I am able to tutor students either privately or in groups. In either case, I like to ensure that my tutoring sessions are not stressful experiences for students. In this manner, sessions can be quite productive and successful. I am truly excited about meeting all my new students. I graduated from NYC's Magnet High School and went on to attend Yale University, where I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with magna cum laude honors. My field of study was in economics and political science, and my grade point average was a 3.9. My work experience includes being a college campus interviewer, where I helped students go through the application process for Ivy League schools. In my free time, I like ballroom style dancing and walking around NYC and stopping to eat at the different restaurants.
