Private tutor in Brooklyn, NY

Duke University - BA, Public Policy

I earned my bachelor's degree in public policy at Duke University. I'm currently studying acting New York, where I'm required to be enthusiastic, energetic, and compassionate. These the same qualities that I want to bring to my students as a tutor. My tutoring experience includes mentoring peers as an undergraduate, helping students prepare for the SAT, and doing whatever I can to help students succeed. I love to help students identify the subjects they are most interested in. I also enjoy working alongside students to set goals and then go after them. Ultimately, I want to help students become self-sufficient learners who can tie their interests and long-term goals to the subject at hand to stay motivated and become successful. When I have some free time, I like to act, listen to music, salsa dance, and longboard. I also enjoy sports, particularly soccer.
