ExperienceI earned my bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Rochester and a master's and MBA in Bioengineering from the University of Pittsburgh. I spent some time in Long Island as a teacher's assistant, helping students in an individual setting when they were having trouble in the classroom. I am confident in my ability to teach subjects all across the spectrum, but some of my favorite fields include Math, Chemistry, and Physics. I find Science compelling because everything in the world around us is governed by the laws put forth in that field. Very complex ideas, as well as things that we experience every day, can be boiled down to a few very simple foundations from Science. My main strategy when teaching is to give students a new way to look at a problem when they don't understand the standard one they are being told to deal with. I also aim to learn something new every time I go into a session with a student, and I hope to pass along that craving for fresh information. When I'm not teaching I love losing myself in a good book or going to the beach. I am also a huge sports fan.
