Currently, I'm a student at the University of Pennsylvania. My studies focus on economics. I'm looking forward to serving as an intern in the upcoming months. I will be working with a business that helps independent music artists reach their career goals. Music is an interest that is especially important to me. When I'm not studying or tutoring, you can find me at a local show, searching for new music to enjoy.I have worked with students on various subjects for several years. Many students have come to me for help with pre-calculus, pre-algebra, calculus, and SAT test preparation. I have also worked with students to prepare for a mock debate. Here, I learned the importance of self-expression. Based on my experience in the classroom and working with my students, I have learned that students struggle to learn the material if they don't see how the material at hand relates to their future and passions. Many of my students tell me that algebra doesn't really relate well to everyday life, but I have found that it's helped me learn the most basic business math skills. I approach my tutoring sessions with a friendly demeanor. I also take extra care to make sure that my students are interested and engaged, and don't just focus on memorizing all of the important information for a test.
