I attended Rutgers University, where I received both my B.A. and M.A. in English Education. In order to write an effective college entrance essay, it's important to integrate the personal, stand out as an individual, and express your ability to think critically. It can be difficult to write these essays, both emotionally and in terms of skill. The same qualities needed to write an effective college essay are required for success in more advanced coursework in English and other humanities. It's always important to immerse yourself in the reading and writing you're assigned, finding a connection between yourself and the subject. It's necessary to eradicate self-consciousness, and integrate your intellect and your emotions into your work. To be a good analytical writer, it's essential to know yourself well, allow vulnerability, and always push yourself to new heights. I have extensive experience as an English educator. I've taught the subject for ten years, and have tutored writing for 15 years. In this work, I've encountered many divergent learning styles, strong points, and weaknesses. I'm confident I can work with any student to reach their potential and develop new expertise. I can tutor English, Literature, A.P. coursework in English, Reading, and Writing.
