I have a Bachelors degree in Banking and Finance(2003) and MBA in Banking and Finance(2006) both from University of Nigeria( one of Africa's most prestigious institutions). I also have a certificate in Credit and Risk analysis for Micro-Finance bank(2013) and a Diploma in Medical Billing and Coding from Manhattan Institute of City of New York(2014).
Experience
I have been hands on in teaching and coaching over the years. Between 2004-2005 i was teaching economics in one of Nigeria's Federal Government Colleges during 1year of national Service program. In 2009-2010 i was part-time lecturer at a higher(tertiary) institution in Nigeria, The Polytechnic Ibadan where i taught economics and finance. For me, teaching is a calling. I enjoy imparting knowledge working with your people to inspire learning. I do not just teach, i give career talks, examine students area of interest through interaction and observation, while encouraging students not just to study to pass examinations but also to study and imbibe knowledge because knowledge is light. I have done various research works in the field of economics and finance, authoring study materials for students at secondary education levels. I also authored the career biography of a foremost African banker( Oba, Oladele Olashore. 2003). I have been involved in public speaking at youth development programs in Nigeria aimed at building capacity for youths My work experience span from banking (Standard Chartered Bank Nigeria Limited and Wealthstream Micro-finance bank Nigeria Limited) 2008-2013 to capital market and portfolio development, business management and strategy.
