I have been tutoring students from ages 9 - 18 for more than 10 years in math and various areas of English, including essay editing, grammar, literature, reading, and writing skills. I have both a bachelor's degree in Language Communication and Society and a teaching diploma in primary education, specifically literacy studies. When I'm not tutoring or teaching, I enjoy reading, traveling, cooking, and various outdoor activities.I believe education is important because of how much it can offer students, particularly its ability to facilitate many different kinds of changes in their lives. Every single student is able to be successful if they work hard and reach toward excellence. As a tutor and educator, I employ a wide variety of different methods to help each student make the best of their time with me. I am willing to adjust both my teaching strategies and styles based on the student's age, academic status, and interest in the subject. By personalizing the approaches I use in each student's session, I hope to help them enhance their education and improve upon whatever subject they are working on.
