Experience

I'm a tutor in the Washington, D.C., area who graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a bachelor's degree in history and minors in Spanish and political science. Presently, I work on political campaigns on Capitol Hill, and I plan to continue this career path until I begin graduate school. While I was a college student, I spent time studying overseas in Ireland and Madrid, Spain. I gained tutoring experience when I spent time tutoring a class of high school students preparing for the SAT, which taught me how to maintain the attention of a group of teenagers. I tutor students in a variety of subjects, including Spanish at the introductory level, Spanish levels 1, 2, 3, and 4, as well as AP Spanish. I also tutor social studies, American history, and AP United States History students. Additionally, I'm available to help high school students prepare to take the SAT.In my free time, I enjoy reading and politics. I especially enjoy reading books on political topics, and I recently finished reading a biography on Joe DiMaggio. I'm also an avid New York sports fan, and frequently root for the Yankees, Giants, and Knicks.
