The King's College, New York City - B.A., Politics, Philosophy, and Economics

I'm attending The King's College, where I studied economics, philosophy, and politics. My tutoring experience includes working with classmates to help them work through learning obstacles in math, logic, and politics. My favorite subjects to tutor are writing and public speaking, but I can help students learn algebra, economics, business, government, and reading as well. I also enjoy helping students prepare for the ACT, SAT, GRE, PSAT, and other standardized admissions and assessment exams. I like to explain concepts thoroughly, then have the student explain back or work through problems to demonstrate their understanding. We continue this process continually refining the student's understanding until they are comfortable with their comprehension. When I have some free time, like to read, watch Ted Talks, cook, read, and study philosophy.
