I have found great fulfillment and enjoyment through my experiences thus far in tutoring literature, math, writing, and test prep. I tutored these subjects in various capacities from middle school through college, and I have a deep understanding that every student, regardless of the subject matter, requires a unique and an individualized approach when being tutored. Because of my extensive tutoring experience, I know how to pinpoint a student's challenges and know why they're not understanding something. Because of that, I can help a student no matter what their situation. Through this method, which is based on focusing on the student's personal learning needs, I have been able to help students significantly raise test scores, and begin to understand a difficult subject on a deeper level. I love helping students reach their goals. As a graduate from the University of California, San Diego, I studied Literature for my bachelor's degree. I currently live in New York, and have been here for about one year. Some of my other hobbies include: writing, technology, and art; I particularly enjoy combining these three. I avidly read "experimental" and canonical literature, which explains my particular fondness for tutoring English literature and writing.
