Experience
I graduated from Boston University with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. Upon graduating, I enrolled at the University of Michigan, where I received my M.S. and doctorate degree in Geological Sciences and Paleontology. As a tutor, I have experience working with a number of students from the third grade up until graduate school. I have formally taught anatomy to students in dental and medical school, as well as natural sciences to undergraduate learners. I love having the opportunity to teach science, where I encourage my students to always be inquisitive, questioning why or how something came to be. I work hard to inspire students, so that they are eager to further their knowledge while enjoying the education process. I assess each student individually and identify his or her weaknesses and strengths. By doing this, I am able to gain a deeper insight into how I should present my material to best suit each student's needs.I am currently living in Brooklyn, and I teach a number of subjects, including algebra, geometry, elementary and middle school math, trigonometry, anatomy, biology, physics, environmental science, and geology. I am also able to help students prepare for graduate school by preparing for the GRE and GMAT. In my spare time I like being outdoors, where I enjoy skiing, hiking, and rock climbing.
