ExperienceWhile my outside interests include dance, design, ballet, and writing, my work life involves tutoring and teaching. I worked as a teaching assistant for a couple of courses in college, assisting during Russia Now and Intro. to Geological Sciences. I began tutoring in high school during my sophomore year. I volunteered to tutor other students in Science and Math, and did so until graduation. I earned my bachelor's degree from Rochester University. I have a Science degree for Chemical Engineering. I now offer tutoring for these classes and others in related fields. These include Calculus and Linear Algebra, as well as Chemistry and Physics. Quantum Physics is a favorite of mine. I am not as worried about the subjects offered as I am the teaching style required for the job. I tailor my style to meet each student's needs. I find a strategy that works best for me, and tweak it to meet what the student requires to help them learn best. My goal as a tutor is to help students learn in a creative way that gets them to master the subject. I always work to improve my learning styles so I can apply them to the specific individual being tutored.
