I am an effective tutor who excels in statistics. Although I specialize tutoring statistics, I'm also available to help students with American history, government, geography, psychology, social studies, political science, and other subjects. I received my degrees in Political Science and Psychology at Florida State University. I am continuing my education at Stony Brook University where I am pursuing my Ph.D. in Political Science. I have experience working with students as a graduate level statistics professor. Students can often get left behind in the fast pace of the classroom environment, and that's where tutors come in. My goal as a tutor is to help students come to understand the topics and concepts that they are struggling to grasp in class. I'm excellent at taking complex ideas and principles and simplifying them so that students are able to understand them. I also believe that is important to explain to students why the things that they are learning are important and how they actually translate in the real world. I want to help any student, regardless of their skill level, reach their fullest potential. When I'm not studying or tutoring I enjoy conducting research, honing my guitar playing skills, going for bike rides, and working out at the gym.
