Experience

I enjoy tutoring a variety of subjects, but I especially enjoy helping students prepare for the SAT test. I had an exceptional tutor who helped me prepare for my SAT test, and after working with him only twice, he helped me raise my score on the SAT immensely! This experience was a great lesson, and it allows me to help others to reach their target test scores. Aside from tutoring, I also have two years of experience teaching in the classroom. During my educational journey, I first attended the College of Wooster in Ohio where I studied Theater and Philosophy. I then went on to attend Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland, where I studied Education and earned a master's degree. I truly enjoy teaching, and while helping students with their academic studies, I also strive to inspire students to become all-around great people. I think helping students learn to read and write well is a very important part of achieving this goal; reading can truly help a person improve every aspect of their life. In my free time, I love to read. I also perform in improv comedy shows, act in other performances, and play board games. In addition, I like to spend time just exploring this great city.
