My belief is that every individual has the capacity to be successful. My job as a teacher is to build a solid foundation and instill methods that guarantee that success. I develop strategies and skills, and grow the knowledge base for K - 8 children to allow them to be independent learners. I help the individuals to grasp the concepts and principles underlying the skill. This translates into them being able to fully know why or how something works and take these skills with them through their entire life. I like to tutor various topics, but the ones I enjoy the most are math and writing. I believe both of these are filled with opportunities to form problem solving and creativity skills, which are crucial for leading a successful life. Some other subjects I tutor, include Geometry, English, Reading, Phonics, and prepping for the SSAT.I enjoy playing tennis, photography, and drawing.
