I've been science teacher for 10 years, and I worked with a wide array of students, including gifted and talented students and students with special needs. This experience has shown me that every student learns in their own way, and I understand that the key to creating successful students is the ability to modify my teaching approach to match the learning style of each student I work with. I recently finished my medical degree, I also have master's degrees in chemistry and education. I have a very strong science background in addition to my teaching experience, so I have a lot of tools, resources, and techniques I can utilize to make learning interesting and effective for my students. I want students to learn, but I also want them to develop the ability to learn on their own. Ultimately I believe this is what will lead to their long-term success academically and throughout their lives.
