Hi, my name is Ethan, and I am here to help with English, History, Social Studies, Regent Exams, AP tests, and all standardized tests. I am also available to help ESL students improve their English speaking skills. I have four years of tutoring experience. I have experience working with groups or individuals ranging from grade school to high school age. I have my bachelor's in Philosophy, working on my master's in the same field.I understand that every student is unique. I work hard to find a tutoring style that fits their needs and incorporates their interests. One thing that I think is unique about my style is that I can adapt my lesson plans to what each student needs. I take the time to listen to my students, allowing them to explain why they are having difficulties in a subject. Once I know why they are having difficulties learning a particular topic, I come up with a lesson plan that focuses on their strengths while addressing their weaknesses. I find ways to explain things that make sense to each student. When I have spare time, you can find me running, playing the piano, spending time with my friends, and reading.
