Private tutor in Brooklyn, NY

New York University - BS, Business Management

I am a teacher of the Chinese language, who wants to help students become fluent in the language, and have a good time doing it. I am here for the student who is tired of memorizing information, being lectured, and engaging in repetitive exercises geared toward teaching the masses a standard package of information. I like it when a student asks questions, because it means that the student is engaged and ready to participate in the academic process. My teaching style is to make everyone want to learn the language, and I present my lessons in a way that takes into account the student's learning style. I work as hard as my students do to help them become successful, while providing a positive and pleasant environment in which each student will be able to reach his or her full potential.I have many years of experience teaching Mandarin Chinese 1,2,3 and 4, as well as Languages classes. It is important to me to help the student transition easily between vocabulary and pronunciation into conversation.I was educated at New York University, and currently live in Jersey City, New Jersey. In my spare time, I enjoy drawing and painting.
