Education
I graduated from Kingsborough Community College with a B.A. in Secretarial Science and I graduated from Brooklyn College with a B.A. (with honors) in English Lit.
Experience
I am a published poet, book reviewer, proofreader, and editor. My mission is to "restore the English language to its former glory." I feel that a good way to do this would be through tutoring students how to construct cogent sentences and analyze literature in order to write stellar essays. I also believe that a good working knowledge of grammar, punctuation and spelling are essential for students' future careers and success. I have tutored young children in urban neighborhoods, and have given poetry workshops for many years. I am an excellent communicator. I am very patient, and can give students the motivation they need to become interested in literature and writing.
