Experience
I am passionate about education and have hands on experience working with students both professionally and academically. I have experience editing essays and tutoring peers at the college level. This includes english essays and research papers. I have worked as a drama teacher and reading/writing mentor at the elementary and middle school level, with children ages 8-14. We worked on story structure, storytelling, and analytical reading and writing skills. I am currently working as the Education Coordinator at an off-broadway theater company with students ages 14-18. I am passionate about essay writing, research, and storytelling, and I care about helping young people to strengthen those skills on their way to higher education. In high school I excelled in english and essay writing, receiving a 35 on the English/Writing section and Reading section of the ACT, with a composite score of 30.
