IT professional who has worked for major NYC corporations as well as not-for-profit, including the United Nations. I was a math lecturer at Queensboro Community College and I have years of tutoring experience. I like to help make math and science easy to understand, and I have great teaching skills, according to my students. I can also mentor the student, guide him/her in landing good internships, resume writing, interview practice, etc. Ideally, I would like to tutor students at Brooklyn College. My rates are $40 an hour for individual tutoring, $60 per hour for 2 students, $75 per hour for 3 students. I do not accept more than 3 students for group tutoring.
Availability
Monday after 1PM, Tues/Thurs after 1PM, Friday after 1PM, Weekends after 1PM
Can Meet
Up to 15 minutes away for no additional charge, Up to 30 minutes away for a flat fee, Up to 1 hour away for a flat fee
Hobbies
I love math, science, tutoring and working with students eager to learn and excel at school. I am well traveled globally and enjoy learning new languages. My hobbies are reading, canvas painting and cooking. I also enjoy designing websites or fliers, invites, etc on a freelance basis. I basically live at the intersection of Creativity Street and Learning Avenue, and for me, learning and development are lifelong pursuits.
