From 2010-2013 I worked as a Peace Corps Volunteer teaching English as a Second Language in Rwanda. From 2013-2014, I taught English, Creative Writing, Phonics and basic IT at an Cambridge International Private School in Kigali, Rwanda. I want to be a tutor, because I love education and learning. I think it is one of the most crucial parts of our lives -- that of becoming more knowledgeable on any range of subjects. I also feel that paying it forward is a vital skill in being grateful, as others have helped me in various capacities, I'd like to do what I can to assist others achieve and excel.

I'm a very charismatic person. I am very focused, attentive to detail and motivating. I have numerous interests and appreciate all forms of popular culture and media. I'm also very personable and have had both extensive and varied experience working with children from First Grade through High School. I have worked in various settings: large-class size, small groups, as well as individually. From living abroad, I am a very understanding and patient person when working with others and those in need of more encouragement and motivation.
