I have worked with a wide range of students of various ages, ability levels, and interests. Past students run the gamut from high school freshman who can barely read to top-scorers from some of New York's most competitive high schools. I have worked extensively with the SAT II biology test, and my two previous students both started with scores around 600 and ended up scoring 780. I have worked for the last 5 years in a Columbia mass spectrometry lab. This constitutes my direct scientific experience. Through this experience I have heard many lectures about the latest research in Earth Science, Climatology, and Oceanography.
