I recently graduated from Yale University with a B.A. in History and with distinction in the major. I've always been a passionate student of the humanities, and love to pass my academic excitement on to others. Though I focused primarily in 20th century American history at Yale, I've taken a variety of courses in a wide range of subjects, including (but not limited to) European Intellectual History, Constitutional Law, and Architectural Drawing. During the summer of 2013, I studied as a Richard U. Light fellow at the Harvard Beijing Academy in Beijing, China. I am fluent in Mandarin Chinese, and enjoy speaking the language and engaging with Chinese culture.

I lived with and counseled sixteen freshmen in the residential college on a range of issues, including academics, mental health, drugs and alcohol, and conflict mediation.
