Education
Graduated with a degree in Biological Sciences from Pace University with a GPA of 3.45. For Spanish, I was in an immersion program from the ages of 8-17 and am fluent.
Experience
In high school I tutored algebra and Spanish. While in college, I taught health education to high school students. I scored above average on the "Biology SAT Subject" Test and also on the "Major Field Exam" to finish the degree in biology. In 2011, I was awarded a grant to work as a lab assistant with a Professor on his research project. I also scored well on the AP Spanish Exam and was awarded "Outstanding Achievement Award" in Spanish as a freshman in college. I would like to be a tutor because I would like to be a biology teacher someday. I also love to use my Spanish when I can because I am no longer in many situations where it's needed. I am passionate about both biology and spanish and would like the opportunity to pass along what I have learned.
