Experience
When I was in college, I spent two years working as an assistant instructor in biology and chemistry labs, and it was the best job I ever had. It's an incredibly gratifying experience to be able to help another person understand something that you are passionately interested in. I can easily teach just about any high school subject with the exception of foreign languages and help students prepare for the SAT (I got a 2280 on mine) and help drill students in document based questions for AP tests, but the subject that I most enjoy tutoring is chemistry. I was a chemistry major and I wrote my senior thesis on organic chemistry, so I'm your guy if you're having any trouble with organic chemistry or you just feel like you could do better with some outside help. I try to keep things light and easygoing as a tutor and reinforce the fact that getting things wrong a couple times isn't bad, it's one of the best ways to learn to get things right.

Hobbies
My favorite thing to do with my spare time is definitely cooking. I'm always collecting new recipes, seeking out new ingredients, and trying to master new techniques. The feeling I get when someone enjoys something I just prepared is just incredibly gratifying. I feel great all day when I know I made a dish that someone else enjoyed eating.
