I am a tutor who specializes in helping students gain admission to their college of choice. I believe that I'm a guide for my students as opposed to a lecturer, and I'm here to provide encouragement, support, and advice. Many students have anxiety about writing, and when it comes to a college admissions essay, those feelings can be multiplied. I help students put their thoughts together in an organized way and express them clearly. I am a professional writer myself, and I have experience teaching students to become better writers at the high school and college levels. I graduated from the University of Southern California, as well as from the Iowa Writers' Workshop, and I've taught writing at Madison College, Antioch College, and the University of Iowa. I also was able to serve as a tutor in South Korea via a non-profit organization. When I have free time, I enjoy yoga, meditation, the arts, and cooking.
