Being passionate Chinese tutor, I’d like to assist a student who is interested in learning Chinese not only to study the language, but to understand and enjoy Chinese culture as well. There are some of my unique traits. First, I am a native Chinese speaker. I speak standard mandarin Chinese and know Pinyin. Second, I received my M.A. (GPA 3.9) in Chinese history in Queens College, CUNY, in 2012. During my undergraduate study in Queens College, I have taken 15 credits in Chinese language and 21 credits that related to Chinese culture and history. Third, I have been a Chinese teacher in NYC since 2008. I have the experience to teach children as well as adults. Fourth, I have systemically studied classical Chinese literature, history, and philosophy. I am good at writing Chinese prose; I have published several articles on Chinese newspapers, for example, The World Journal. Fifth, I have practice Chinese calligraphy more ten years and have reached a high level of achievement; I have been the chairperson of the board of the North American Chinese Calligraphy Association since 2011.
